Double Bock

Doppelbock, meaning “double,” is a stronger, fuller-bodied version of the traditional German Bock. Originating from the monks of Munich, it features a sweet, yet not cloying malt flavor, rich in melanoidins reminiscent of toasted bread. The color ranges from reddish copper to an attractive dark brown. Doppelbock is full-bodied, high in alcohol, and is particularly well-suited to food pairings.
