Trappist

An iconic Belgian beer, handcrafted directly in the monasteries by Trappist monks. To be recognized as a Trappist beer, production must take place in the monastery, under the supervision of monks and the profits must be mainly for religious or charitable activities. Trappist beers come in many prominent variations such as Dubbel, Tripel or Quadrupel, often with a full body, high alcohol content and complex flavor. The characteristic Belgian yeast aroma creates layers of ripe fruit esters, spicy phenols and a rich malt aftertaste, bringing a refined and sacred experience, considered the pinnacle of the monastic brewing tradition.
