Also known as Cream Stout or Milk Stout. Characterized by a sweet malt flavor, with dominant notes of chocolate and caramel in both aroma and taste. The bitterness from roasted malt or barley is low to medium-low, creating a gentle balance. The addition of lactose gives the beer a thick body and a particularly smooth, creamy mouthfeel. However, due to its lactose content, it is not suitable for those with lactose intolerance.
