BEER STYLE
Weizenbock
Weizenbock is a wheat beer version of the German-Style Bock, or a stronger Dunkelweizen. Characterized by malt melanoidin and Weizen Ale yeast, the beer can be very cloudy if served with lees. Flavors include bready malt, dark fruits such as plums, raisins, black currants; low bitterness but strong effervescence. The aroma is balanced between slightly spicy clove-like phenols and sweet esters like ripe bananas.
